K1

This March, our K1 class kicked off with our new fun-filled theme Super Seasons! We explored each season through imaginative and interactive activities that sparked the students’ inquisitiveness and developed their understanding of the world.

今年三月,我們的K1班以充滿樂趣的新主題“超級季節”拉開帷幕!我們通過富有想像力的互動活動來探索每個季節,這些活動激發了學生的好奇心並發展了他們對世界的理解。

The children enjoyed going on a spring walk and discovered the natural beauty of the changing seasons. They created colourful flowers to construct their spring flower crowns, and they looked marvellous in them.

孩子們喜歡在春天散步,並發現了四季多變的自然之美。他們創造了五顏六色的花朵來製作他們的春天的花環,並且它們看起來奇妙。

We then went on a summer camping trip. It was a lot of fun role-playing building a fire and roasting marshmallows. We created sandcastles by painting and stacking reusable cups and covering them with sand.

然後,我們進行了夏季露營之旅。生火和烤棉花糖都是非常有趣的活動。我們還通過繪畫和堆疊可重複使用的杯子並用沙子覆蓋它們來創建沙城堡。

We compared the differences between hot and cold weather, and we categorised which clothes we would wear during each season. The students developed their sense of imagination and creativity by making beautiful autumn trees through various techniques. They practised their fine motor skills by finger painting and cutting and sticking leaves.

我們比較了冷熱天氣之間的差異,並對每個季節要穿的衣服進行了分類。通過各種技能製作美麗的秋天樹木,學生們提高了想像力和創造力。他們通過手指繪畫以及裁剪和黏貼樹葉來練習小肌肉。

We’ve had lots of other fun highlights this month. While learning the vocabulary for the letter M, we worked collaboratively to make a delicious milkshake! During PE, we’ve practiced walking slowly, quickly, over objects, and even while holding objects. The children also practised dodging obstacles while running and holding hands with their friends.

這個月我們還有很多其他有趣的亮點。在學習字母M的詞彙時,我們共同努力製作了美味的奶昔!在進行體育鍛煉時,我們練習了緩慢和快速走、穿過物件,甚至握住一些物體進行該項活動。孩子們在與朋友奔跑和牽手時還練習了躲避障礙物呢。

MANDARIN

K1 students have had a fun month exploring the theme Super Seasons. We began with spring. They have been looking at the flowers and leaves in the park and observing how seed grows over time. They learnt about the climate of summer through storytelling, PE, art activities and singing. They have been introduced to the harvest season, autumn, and learnt about different colours of autumn leaves. They also learnt how to differentiate between summer and winter.

在春光明媚的三月,幼兒班的孩子們迎來了《超級四季》這一個主題單元。我們在一起來到公園尋找春天的足跡,一起進行了種植豆子的活動,通過故事和種植活動,孩子對植物的生長也有了初步的認識;在夏天的教學中,孩子們一起通過故事、體能活動、美勞活動和《夏天到》的兒歌認識了夏天的天氣,一起感受夏天的活動帶來的樂趣;來到秋天,我們一起聆聽了《春夏秋冬》這個故事,大家知道了秋天是一個收穫的季節,孩子們一起通過玩落葉,感受秋天的天氣變化;而冬天,孩子們一起比較了夏天和冬天的天氣的特點。

With introductory knowledge of the four seasons, the students understand the beauty of nature and the importance of protecting the environment.

對超級四季有了初步的認識,孩子們能夠感知大自然的美好,並能體會愛護大自然的重要性。

We have also been celebrating Easter at school and had an excellent performance. Keep it up!

我們還一起慶祝了春天的節日--復活節,孩子們的表現讓我特別欣慰,繼續努力,你們會做得更好。
